Darwin, was a town first founded by kingcasey3 in early November, 2014 during the Second Era. It was later abandoned and then reclaimed by OwlCharles in December, 2014.
Darwin was first founded by kingcasey3, as his second town. He built it immediately after being unbanned from his first ban, which was due to raiding Rome in World War I. There was one skyscraper and four houses. Eventually, kingcasey got bored with the town and abandoned it, leaving only a few chests. OwlCharles would then come and claim Darwin, as well as kingcasey's chests, sparking World War 2.

Evolution on Gardiner
After the events of WW2, Darwin would spending time jumping between different nations. First it would join the Merchant's Union, leaving due to the nation leader's inactivity. It would then join the Wolfcoast Union, where it stayed stayed there until a towny reset forced it to leave the nation. Kingcasey then offered Darwin to join the United Republic. Eventually, kingcasey abandoned the Republic and Darwin became the capital. Shortly after, Darwin would disband the nation and join the Democratic Union (DU).
Conflict with the Great Federation[]
Soon after the Great Federation was founded, F1sh98 claimed "resource" outposts around many major towns including Darwin, Mandalay, and Perth. This led to outrage among the towns' members, causing the DU to declare war and attempt to attack Mendoza. The attack ended in failure, due to there not being enough players online. Instead, DU move to attack Enclave, but only succeeded in gaining two plots before F1sh98 made his nation neutral, which meant that DU forces could no longer attack.
Up until his ban, F1sh98 refused to delete his outposts, and in response, many towns claimblocked Mendoza. These towns would also mine near Mendoza as a form of retaliation and protest.
Leaving the Democratic Union[]
Darwin had been a member of the DU for a long period of time, however, it would leave after hearing plans by the nations leader, xexekeli, to bomb London. Pressburg, Papua New Guinea, and Ho Chi Minh City would follow, causing xexekeli to disband the DU. Darwin then made the Commonwealth of Australia, with Carpentaria, Uppsala, and Sydney as member towns. The Commonwealth of Australia merged with the Great Federation, and OwlCharles then became the Secretary of Internal Affairs for the Great Federation and an advisor to F1sh98.

OnionHunter Age (13 Feb, 2015 - 8 Mar, 2015)[]
OnionHunter, who was a fairly new player to the server was the first choice by F1sh98 to be the new mayor of Darwin. OwlCharles left the town to create a new town, Chicago. The town Darwin changed the name to "New Darwin" because of the new mayor in the seat.
After the fall of the Great Federation, Darwin would became the capitol of the New Fedration. Eventually, OnionHunter changed the name to the United Republic, due to the stigma around the Federation's name.
Tracenator1 Age (8 Mar 2015 - Apr, 2015)[]
Tracenator1 became the new mayor and king of the United Republic after OnionHunter left the server, claiming he was buried in school work. During his final moments on the server, OnionHunter said that he might return in the future, but he never did. Eventually, Darwin would fall and be claimed as an outpost by Bangkok.
Griefing[]
On 20 May, 2015, GymSock17 was patrolling the Darwin Outpost when he saw something out of the ordinary. He investigated and discovered that a small crater had been blown on the DNA Plaza. He realized that this crater was far too large to belong to a creeper, mainly since they couldn't cause much collateral damage. Fearing the worse, Gym dashed to the Darwin Communications tower, and discovered minor damages at the bottom of the tower. Then he really began to take in his surroundings and saw multiple crators MUCH larger than the one. Some showed explosions that had destroyed entire two story houses and nearly a third of the town. GymSock vowed to bring the insurgent to justice for damaging a town that poses no threat to anyone anywhere on the server. It was later discovered that the culprit of the bombing was kingcasey3.
Recalled to Life[]
When the 7th Bangkok outpost declared independence from the city of Bangkok after The Great Towny Glitch of 2015, the city of Darwin was in shambles, with bombing damages, griefing, looting, and other cases of damage and decay. Yellowrockerman and his friends began an expensive repair project for the city that shows significant improvement since the start of the project.

Darwin's Rebirth as a Town[]
Darwin had been last claimed by the player smahman4765 and his irl friends Agent_Omega and yellowrockerman. Emmettmaster had also joined the town, another another real-world friend of smashman4765 and GymSock17. They claimed the town to protect it from the vile plague caused from The Great Towny Glitch of 2015. It was planning to rejoin the city that the players were previously in, Bangkok, but would be a self-governing state.

Darwin Communications Tower
Darwin Communications (DC) Tower: The second tallest building in Darwin at 106 blocks and the tallest player-made building on 10 December, 2014. It also served as mayor OwlCharles's home.
Ochre Square: Ochre Square was a luxury square that has 4 benches with an overhanging umbrella, and a fountain made out of red sandstone.
Zodiac Square and Darwin City Hall
Zodiac Square: Zodiac Square was the center of the Government District and will be surrounded by Government buildings. Eventually it will have the 12 Zodiac signs placed around the square in the form of statues. (Cancer, Capricorn, Gemini, Libra, Pisces, Virgo, Aquarius, Saggittarius, Scorpius, Leo, Taurus, and Aries.
Darwin City Hall: Darwin City Hall was two floors and was made out of Acacia, stone slabs, glass panes, red sandstone, gold blocks, emerald blocks, and redstone blocks. It includes a meeting room and was from where Darwin was governed.
Evolution on Gardiner: The Tallest Building in Australia and was the world's tallest building (until the completion of Willis Tower) at 101.5 blocks at the roof, and 122 blocks at the tip of the spire. It is a 30 story luxury apartment building.

The Market District was where trade occured and was never finished.There was also a small market district in-between Zodiac Square and Ochre Square
Residential District is to the far left and in between Ochre Square and Zodiac Plaza, Market District Ochre Square and middle areas, Government District to the far right.

Residential[]
The residential district was in the interior of the city, between the Market district and the ocean. It was not the only residential area in Darwin, but was the major housing area. The main apartment area was next to Ochre Square along Evolution Drive.
Government[]
The Government District was located around Zodiac Square and will eventually house the Darwin Parliament, Darwin City Hall, Darwin Defense Headquarters, the National Bank, and possibly other buildings.
